What is in a date? 16 December 2024!

I decided to title this story with the date in which I am writing it.

Why is one day more significant than another?, and why is it worth remembering it by using it as the title of a story?

There are dates we remember because they were the day something important happened to us that made you store it in the memorable dates folder in your memory. And as such you go back in time and bring back to the present whatever was that made that day memorable.

Good and bad situations can be stored likewise.

Today, I watched an interview on YouTube that opened my mind to a new way to see, act, organise and understand how I think, decide and act.

I learnt something about the way I have acted; guided by feelings and emotions originated subjectively by me.

There is a different way to react that is guided by observation and formation of a perspective you can obtain by leaving intuition and emotions aside.

Why leave them aside?

Mostly those appreciations are mistaken if not wrong because they are being brought to consciousness through the channel where our emotions imbed or coat or disguise according to our subjectivity

And are not the real true situation that should be assessed without subjectivity but objectivity.

I soon started thinking that my usual responses, appreciations and memories were mostly guided by emotions.

It may be too late in life to try and correct the way we have lived our lives.

But when you find yourself immersed in a most amazing situation you don’t want to let emotions interfere with the management of this affair, but you want to proceed with a different attitude where perspective and objectivity are the guiding forces to handle people, situations, decision making, evaluation and finally get to the best management style to achieve realistic goals selected objectively as well.

Lots of words used to express thoughts and procedures that will inspire me to reach the goals I have in mind.
