Hi I am Carmen Gloria Tyrer,

My passion for wool started when I was very young. It seemed natural, this strong connection to the area of craft as my family had been involved in  wool crafts for generations in the Chilean Andes.

​

In Australia I became interested in felting because it gave me the chance to use wool again while exploring other way to use it.

I fell in love with the fast results, as compared to knitting.(which I still do); with the  vibrant colours and textures I could produce, those were the definitive features that I was looking for.
In WA I discovered  ultra-fine merino wool and its amazing softness was a reason for me to try to felt it.
